I am mostly retired but I am also an internet marketer, website designer, artist, writer, amateur photographer and sometimes fisherman. (And maybe a few other things.)

Several years ago I made my first visit to the Village of Strasburg. I live in Florida and come here three or so times a year. My significant other has a home in Strasburg and we have a home in Florida. She has family here and I now have many friends in the area.

Strasburg and the surrounding area has some really great people. The whole area is very scenic and picturesque. If you have lived here for awhile, you may not realize what you have.

I have lived in Florida for over 55 years. Most folks there are transplants, many are very nice but not like the community of this area.

I saw this creature. Had no idea what it was. I am familiar with Florida creatures. I am a scuba diver, have seen sharks and barracuda in the water...with me. Of course, many alligators, porpoises, bears, deer, bob cats, and manatees. All kinds of snakes. And some really weird people.

Found out it was a groundhog........OH yeah! I know .....some folks consider them to be pests.

Being an animal lover...like them better than some people I know...I did some research to see what I could find.

Have seen him many times now. On occasion, there is a second hog there. Must be a boy and girl team. And I decided to build a site. Mostly as a whim.

If you look at the internet, most of the sites about Strasburg are garbage. (My opinion.)

Strasburg deserves much better than that. In time I plan to increase this site so the world can appreciate a great place.

I have been on the internet for about 10 years and have a pretty good idea about how things work.
